Here's some general information about Fugard's play.


And here is your copy of the play itself. Feel free to print it out (double sided, if you need a dead-tree copy, please!) and keep it in a folder or duo-tang--with your name on it, of course. A lot of students find that they really learn a lot more if they can highlight or write all over the play, with important notes. Of course, if you'd rather read it on our classroom screen, that's fine, too.

The rest of this sheet includes topics that relate to the themes of the play (you will be analysing these topics) and three questions that will appear on the unit test as essay topics. We will work on these together in class, some, but you might want to start thinking about them (and looking for evidence and so on) as you get some free time.
